Hotel Sales Manager (Kenyans Preferred)


We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hotel Sales Manager in Siauliai, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel through developing and implementing effective sales strategies. Your main goal will be to increase occupancy and revenue by identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting our hotel's services.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. A biometric passport is also preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Identify potential clients through research and networking
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel's facilities and services
- Negotiate and close deals with clients to secure bookings and contracts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of events and services for clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to make informed sales decisions
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets set by management

Requirements:
- Kenyan nationality preferred (non-Kenyans with valid work permits will also be considered)
- No English language proficiency required but preferred
- No prior experience necessary but advantageous
- Must have a biometric passport (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of the local market, hospitality industry, and current trends is an asset

Salary:
Starting salary of 1300$ per month plus commission based on sales performance.
