IT Support Technician
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to computer systems, hardware, and software. They will troubleshoot and resolve issues, maintain systems, and provide training to users. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and fixes
- Conduct regular maintenance on systems to ensure optimal performance
- Train users on new systems or software as needed
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement new technology or upgrades
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technology
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Washington D.C., USA
