Dismantler Technician


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dismantler Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Dismantler Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling various types of equipment and structures, such as vehicles, machinery, and buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to use various hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles, machinery, and buildings according to established procedures
- Identify and remove salvageable parts for resale or reuse
- Sort and organize parts for efficient storage and transportation
- Use hand and power tools to safely dismantle equipment
- Follow safety protocols to avoid accidents or injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them at all times
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

We offer competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position. This is an urgent job opportunity, so candidates with own visa will be given preference. However, we are open to considering candidates without experience who are willing to learn on the job.
