Part-time Cashier


We are in search of a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team in Almada. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time contract position suitable for students looking to earn extra income.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Upsell products and services to customers at the checkout counter
- Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct amounts are present
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal communication skills and basic math abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1500 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Almada, Portugal. While preference will be given to Portuguese nationals, we welcome all qualified candidates to apply.
