Insurance Claims Adjuster

The Insurance Claims Adjuster will be responsible for handling and reviewing insurance claims and determining the appropriate coverage and settlement amount. They will work closely with policyholders, insurance companies, and other parties to gather information, investigate claims, and negotiate settlements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position based in Osijek, with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Review insurance policies and determine coverage for submitted claims
- Gather information from policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties
- Investigate claims through interviews, site visits, and research
- Analyze information to determine the cause and extent of damages or losses
- Calculate settlement amounts based on policy coverage and damages/losses
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders or their representatives
- Maintain accurate records of all claim activities and decisions
- Communicate updates on the status of claims to all relevant parties
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in policies/procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an insurance claims adjuster or similar role
- Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using relevant software programs
- Must be fluent in English (Malayalee language proficiency is a plus)
- Must have own visa/work permit for employment in Osijek
