Job Title: Handyman for a Cozy Guesthouse in the Faroe Islands


We are in need of a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team at a cozy guesthouse located in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of the guesthouse, ensuring that it remains in excellent condition for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
- Conduct repairs on appliances, furniture, and other equipment as needed
- Ensure that all areas of the guesthouse are clean and well-maintained
- Respond to guest requests for repairs or maintenance in a timely manner
- Keep track of inventory and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance
- Assist with landscaping duties including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining gardens
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of basic repair techniques in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and other team members
- Must be able to live on-site at the guesthouse provided accommodation

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or training in any relevant trade is preferred
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Valid driver's license
