Junior Developer - Svalbard

We are seeking a skilled Junior Developer to join our dynamic team in Svalbard. As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of software applications. Your main duties will include coding, debugging, and troubleshooting programs, as well as collaborating with senior developers to design new features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient code based on specifications provided by senior developers
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in code and make necessary fixes
- Collaborate with team members to design new features and functionality for software applications
- Test and deploy code updates in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience in software development using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with front-end development tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Employment Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
