A manufacturing company in Herning, Denmark is seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join their team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathe machines to perform turning, boring, facing, and threading operations on metal workpieces
- Read blueprints or job orders to determine the dimensions and tolerances of the part to be produced
- Select the appropriate cutting tools and machine speeds for each job
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy of the finished product
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the machines by performing routine maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Familiarity with lathe machine operation and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
