Web Designer (Svalbard)



As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your main goal will be to design and develop websites that meet the needs and preferences of our clients while also ensuring a seamless user experience. You will work closely with the development team to bring your designs to life and ensure they are functional and responsive across all devices.

Responsibilities:
- Designing website layouts, graphics, logos, and other visual elements
- Creating wireframes and prototypes to present to clients for feedback
- Collaborating with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Conducting regular website maintenance and updates as needed
- Keeping up-to-date with design trends and best practices
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions accordingly
- Ensuring websites are visually consistent with brand guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch
- Strong understanding of user interface design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design languages
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or related field
- Experience with responsive web design
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience working in an agency setting

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position.
