Sous Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant in the US
Our upscale fine dining restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the US. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food is consistently delivered to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and developing new dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring all team members are following food safety regulations and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure food presentation and taste meet our standards
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve efficiency and productivity in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant or similar establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from an accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
