Information Security Analyst
The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting the organization's data and information systems from potential threats. They will develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network activity for potential security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop strategies to respond to and recover from security incidents
- Establish and enforce security best practices across the organization
- Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and recommend appropriate security measures
- Work with IT teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security awareness
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of common information security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications
- Experience in incident response management
Location: La-Condamine with accommodation provided. Salary: $1400 per month.
