Merchandising Coordinator

The Merchandising Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of merchandise planning and execution for our retail stores in Roskilde. This includes analyzing sales data, forecasting product needs, and working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry. They must also have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and be able to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month, including accommodation if needed. Candidates of all genders are welcome to apply.

As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will:

- Analyze sales data to identify trends and forecast product needs
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- Plan and execute merchandise strategies for our retail stores in Roskilde
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns
- Work closely with the buying team to develop product assortments that align with customer preferences
- Ensure that visual merchandising standards are maintained in stores
- Participate in market visits and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role, preferably in the retail industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel for market visits or trade shows if required
