Interpreter for International Business Meetings

As an interpreter for international business meetings, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between participants from different countries and cultures. This role requires excellent language skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to think quickly and accurately translate conversations in real-time. You will be working with a variety of industries and topics, including finance, technology, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret conversations and presentations accurately between multiple languages
- Provide cultural context and explanations to ensure effective communication
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Research and familiarize yourself with relevant industry terminology
- Keep up-to-date with current events and news related to the languages you interpret
- Collaborate with other interpreters or team members as needed
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive information

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages (specifically English and the language(s) of your specialty)
- Previous experience interpreting in a professional setting preferred
- Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills in both languages
- Strong knowledge of cultural customs and norms in both countries/cultures represented in the meeting
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think quickly on your feet
- Attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting complex information
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed for international meetings or events

Salary: $1500 per month (full-time position)
Location: Oslo, Norway (visa sponsorship available)
