Bakery Assistant - Entry Level
We are a well-established bakery located in Fonvieille, searching for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Bakery Assistant. This is an entry-level position, perfect for students looking to gain experience and develop their skills in the baking industry. As a Bakery Assistant, you will work directly with our experienced bakers to assist in the preparation, baking, and packaging of our delicious pastries and breads.
Your main responsibilities will include measuring and mixing ingredients, rolling dough, shaping breads and pastries, operating ovens and other baking equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also have the opportunity to learn about different baking techniques and recipes from our experienced bakers.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about baking and has a strong work ethic. No previous experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided. However, candidates with prior experience in a bakery or food service setting will be given preference.
This position requires someone who can work well in a fast-paced environment, has good time management skills, and is able to follow instructions accurately. You must also have excellent attention to detail to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality.
As this position involves working with food products, it is important that you have good hygiene practices and are able to follow health and safety regulations. A biometric passport is required for this role.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. Working hours may vary but typically involve early morning shifts starting at 5am. The successful candidate must be available to work weekends.
