Caregiver for Elderly in Herning, Denmark
As a caregiver for elderly in Herning, Denmark, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to senior citizens. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication reminders, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Your role is crucial in improving the quality of life for our elderly clients and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care for elderly clients based on individual care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and medication administration
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or family members
- Encourage social interaction and engagement in meaningful activities to enhance overall well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or other outings as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Compassionate attitude towards the elderly population
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)
- Must be physically fit to perform caregiving tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time
- Valid work permit or EU citizenship (free visa provided)
This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1400 per month. We also provide free visa assistance and air ticket for international applicants.
