We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries that will tantalize our guests' taste buds.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new dessert and pastry recipes
- Preparing and baking a variety of desserts and pastries for the restaurant menu
- Ensuring all desserts and pastries are of high quality, fresh, and visually appealing
- Maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Training junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
- Adhering to food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
- Creative with an eye for detail to design attractive presentations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Excellent time-management skills
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other team members
Salary: $900 per month
