Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling the hotel's services and facilities to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, and be able to develop effective sales strategies to increase revenue. This position is based in Horsens and requires someone with accommodation and own visa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold-calling
- Conduct site visits and give presentations to showcase the hotel's services and facilities
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitable rates for the hotel
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other potential partners
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations for pricing adjustments or promotional offers
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and reservations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Regularly update sales reports, forecasts, and budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently present to potential clients
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term partnerships
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitors' offerings
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
