Job Title: Cashier (Indian Candidates Preferred)


We are a retail store located in Akron and we are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be an Indian national with experience working as a cashier. You will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Scan and process items accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Accept payments in cash, credit cards, or other forms of electronic payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets to customers
- Bag items for customers and help them carry their purchases to their vehicles if needed
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when stock is low
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Upsell products or services when appropriate

Requirements:
- Indian national with good English communication skills (other languages are a plus)
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly personality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.
