Instrument Technician
We are currently hiring for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. This position will require you to work with a variety of equipment including pressure gauges, flow meters, thermocouples, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance on existing instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments in a timely manner
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and any issues encountered
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex technical problems
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and instrumentation principles
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with various diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary: 1600$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
