Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial and production processes. This includes troubleshooting issues, conducting regular inspections, calibrating instruments, and replacing faulty parts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical dexterity for handling small parts and tools
- Indian nationality preferred
- No English proficiency required but must be able to understand basic instructions in English
Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and equipment according to technical specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Calibrate instruments as needed for accurate readings
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed on each instrument
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance
- Comply with all safety regulations while performing duties
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians when needed
Salary:
Starting salary of 1000$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
