Executive Pastry Chef
As an Executive Pastry Chef in our bustling bakery in Braga, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and breads. You will lead a team of pastry chefs and bakers, ensuring that high-quality products are consistently produced. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry will be key in developing new recipes and improving existing ones. Experience in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1500 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create new pastry recipes while also improving existing ones
- Oversee the production of pastries, desserts, and breads
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies
- Train and lead a team of pastry chefs and bakers
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create seasonal menus
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a pastry chef or similar role
- Degree or certificate in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques
- Ability to manage inventory levels
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
