Entry Level Tiler in Svalbard



As an Entry Level Tiler in Svalbard, you will be responsible for assisting experienced tilers on various projects throughout the city. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the trade and gaining hands-on experience. No prior tiling experience is required, but a willingness to learn and work hard is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced tilers with all aspects of tiling projects, including measuring, cutting, and installing tiles
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives
- Mix and apply grout to fill gaps between tiles
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for tiling
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- No prior experience in tiling is required, but some hands-on experience in construction or related fields is preferred
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced tilers
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Basic understanding of math for measuring and cutting tiles
- Must have a valid visa sponsorship for working in Svalbard

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$, depending on qualifications and experience.
