Head Pastry Chef in Aarhus, Denmark



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team as the Head Pastry Chef in our renowned restaurant located in the beautiful city of Aarhus, Denmark. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all pastry-related operations within the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's vision and standards
- Train and supervise other pastry chefs and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality and consistent results
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and controlling costs related to pastry ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen space at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create well-balanced menus and dishes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate others to achieve excellence in their work
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for creating unique desserts that stand out from the competition
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in upscale restaurants or hotels
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Must have valid work permit for Denmark (European Union citizenship preferred)

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per week based on experience.
