Sous Chef
A luxury hotel in Ajman is seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Canadian, you will bring your unique cultural background and culinary expertise to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. With a salary of 1600$, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef looking to further their career in a vibrant and diverse city.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food ordering, and kitchen management
- Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service to guests
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end establishment
- Passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes using fresh, local ingredients
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (French language skills would be an asset)
- Valid work permit or ability to obtain one for non-nationals
