Crane Operator



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nakuru. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to move materials, equipment, and products on construction sites, ports, and other locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, such as mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes.
- Inspect and maintain cranes before and after use to ensure safe operation.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating the crane.
- Lift, move, position, and place materials or equipment using the crane.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Keep accurate records of materials moved and work performed.
- Troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or issues that may arise during operation.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator.
- Valid crane operator license or certification.
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and lifting charts.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Physically fit with the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if needed.

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Nakuru
