Part-Time Junior Software Developer


As a Part-Time Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of software systems. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a student looking to gain hands-on experience in the software development field. You will work closely with senior developers and other team members to learn new skills and contribute to various projects. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it perfect for individuals who are looking to balance work with other commitments.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, coding, and testing of new software applications
- Collaborate with team members to identify and fix technical issues
- Learn new programming languages and tools as needed
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to project documentation, including requirements and design specifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Location: Svalbard (open to remote work)

Salary: $1500 per month (based on experience)

This position is open to all nationalities, but candidates must have their own visa that allows them to work in Svalbard.
