Software Developer (Contract) - Svalbard


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful and remote city of Svalbard. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop software solutions
- Design and develop software applications based on client requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug software to ensure high-quality performance
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to existing software
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Developer
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

This is a contract job with an initial duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension based on performance.

This position is based in Svalbard. While we prefer candidates who are currently living in Svalbard, we are open to considering candidates who are willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
