Part-Time Computer Research Scientist



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Computer Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Computer Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research, creating innovative solutions, and developing new technologies in the field of computer science. You must have a strong background in computer science, as well as experience in conducting research and analyzing data. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Accommodation and visa sponsorship may be provided for non-local candidates. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on various topics related to computer science
- Analyzing data and identifying trends or patterns
- Developing new technologies or improving existing ones
- Collaborating with other team members to brainstorm ideas and solve problems
- Presenting findings and recommendations to management or stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with advancements in the field of computer science

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in conducting research or working as a computer scientist
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with data analysis tools such as R or SAS
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark
