Job Title: Junior Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Almada. As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our network and systems infrastructure. This is an entry-level position, suitable for candidates without prior experience in this field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Maintain and upgrade system software and hardware
- Perform routine backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any system or network related issues
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in the network infrastructure
- Create and maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, VLANs, etc.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network issues independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a constantly evolving environment

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada (open to all nationalities)
