We are a leading engineering company in Ashdod, Israel seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating various machine tools and equipment to shape metal parts as per specifications. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and must be able to read and interpret technical drawings. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension. Accommodation will not be provided, but we offer visa sponsorship for foreign nationals. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings when necessary
- Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues
- Adhere to safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled in operating various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Familiar with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work within tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
