Job Title: Contract Carpenter in Porto


We are seeking a skilled Contract Carpenter to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Contract Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, or marking gauges
- Cut, shape and join materials using hand tools or machines
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, etc.
- Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications and regulations
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a carpenter preferred but not required
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Good math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
