Carpenter



As a skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing various wooden structures and fixtures. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to complete projects such as building frameworks, installing roofing, and constructing wooden furniture. You must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret blueprints and other technical drawings. This position is based in Porto and offers a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape and join wood pieces according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan your work
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow safety regulations at all times
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with excellent time management skills

Preferred qualifications:
- Vocational diploma in Carpentry or relevant field
- Experience working with different types of wood
- Knowledge of building codes
- Ability to work independently or in a team
