Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines while following all safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to job specifications and safety standards
- Complete pre-operation procedures including daily equipment inspections
- Safely transport and maneuver heavy equipment on job sites
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
- Follow established procedures for loading, unloading, and securing equipment for transport
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations including fuel usage and maintenance logs

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate heavy machinery for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for record keeping

Salary: $1200 per month

City: Os, Norway
