We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our team in La-Condamine, Monaco. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security and performance. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without previous experience in database administration. Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and backup procedures are in place
- Create databases, tables, and user accounts as needed
- Develop and implement data security protocols to protect sensitive information
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement new database systems
- Provide technical support to end-users in accessing data and running queries
- Analyze and optimize database performance using tools such as SQL Profiler or Performance Monitor

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Knowledge of database design principles and data storage structures
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently or with guidance from senior administrators
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Certifications in database administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Associate/Professional)
