Job Title: Office Manager - Mombasa
We are seeking an organized and efficient Office Manager to join our team in Mombasa. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the office, overseeing administrative tasks, and managing office staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the office, including coordinating schedules, handling correspondence, and overseeing administrative tasks
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of projects and tasks
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
- Oversee office budget and expenses
- Hire, train, and supervise office staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for all employees
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and other external parties
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (additional languages preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or managerial role
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage others
Salary: $1300/month
