Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instruments and control systems in various industrial settings. Your main goal will be to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Read technical manuals and blueprints to understand instrument specifications
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer's instructions
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in instrumentation is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
- Familiarity with different types of instruments and their functions
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment if needed
Salary: $900 per month without accommodation.
