Job Title: Experienced Glazier in Svalbard

We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team in Svalbard. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass windows, doors, and other structures. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A biometric passport is preferred for ease of travel to and from Svalbard.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass windows, doors, and other structures
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass panes
- Read blueprints or specifications to determine size, shape, color, and type of glass needed
- Install weatherstripping or sealing around edges to prevent air or water leaks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Glazier
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measuring skills
- Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations related to glass installation
- Ability to read blueprints or specifications accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if necessary
- Biometric passport preferred for ease of travel to and from Svalbard

Salary: Starting at 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This position is located in Svalbard. Candidates with previous experience living in cold weather climates will be given preference.
