Milling Machine Operator
The milling machine operator will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of milling machines to produce precision parts. They will use blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for each job. The operator will also be responsible for inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and making adjustments as needed. This position requires a strong attention to detail, knowledge of machining techniques, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents. The ideal candidate will have experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines according to specifications
- Read blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine tooling requirements
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in machining preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and strength required for standing, lifting, bending, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bungoma, Kenya (accommodation provided)
Employment type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
