English Language Tutor
As an English Language Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language instruction to students in Bergen. In this role, you will work closely with students to improve their language skills through a variety of teaching methods and materials. You will also be responsible for creating lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and providing feedback and support to help them achieve their language learning goals.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills and have a thorough understanding of the English language. You should also have a passion for teaching and be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student. Additionally, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
This is a contract position that does not require prior teaching experience. However, candidates must have a biometric passport that allows them to legally work in Bergen. The salary for this role is 1700$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
- Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methods
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Communicate with students' parents or guardians as needed
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching techniques and resources
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Biometric passport allowing legal work in Bergen
