Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will inform business decisions. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and maintain data models and algorithms, as well as collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced data mining techniques to collect, clean, and transform large datasets
- Develop and maintain complex data models and algorithms to extract insights from large datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide them with actionable insights
- Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner through visualizations, charts, and presentations
- Continuously monitor the quality of the data being collected and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, preferably in a business setting
- Advanced proficiency in SQL programming language
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R or Python
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a contract position open only to Indian nationals who have their own visa. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
