Quality Assurance Engineer - Contract Position (Akron, OH)


We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Akron, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services by conducting thorough testing and identifying any defects or issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing and a strong understanding of QA methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure quality of software applications
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, report, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into testing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Experience working with biometric passport systems is preferred
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify complex issues and provide solutions
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills

Salary: $1300 per month (contract position)

Note: This position is open to candidates from Canada or Kenya who are willing to work remotely. English proficiency is preferred but not required. Biometric passport experience is required for this role.
