Database Administrator

A reputable company in Herning is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's database systems. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our database infrastructure and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and recommend improvements
- Create and manage database backup and recovery plans
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Troubleshoot database issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with IT team to optimize database infrastructure
- Stay updated on industry developments and implement best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1500$ per month. We also provide free visa sponsorship and flight ticket for international candidates.

Location:
This position is based in Herning, Denmark. While nationality or location preference will not affect your candidacy, we do prefer male candidates for this role.
