Network and Systems Administrator

A reputable IT company in Karachi is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's network and systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Ensure network security by implementing appropriate security measures.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and file sharing.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
- Maintain backup systems to ensure data recovery in case of system failure.
- Perform routine maintenance on servers, workstations, printers, and other hardware.
- Install new software and updates as needed.
- Provide technical support to users regarding network connectivity, email services, software installations, etc.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and end-users.

Salary:
This is a contract job with a starting salary of 1700$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Karachi. Preference will be given to candidates with biometric passports.

Experience:
This position does not require prior experience. We welcome freshers who are eager to learn and grow in their career as a Network or Systems Administrator.
