Hotel Sales Manager - Svalbard
We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Svalbard. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new business and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities
- Create and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reports
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking events
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experience
- Monitor competitors' activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Train and mentor sales team members to achieve targets and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales management or related field
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate a team towards success
- Knowledge of local market trends, customer preferences, and industry standards in Svalbard
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field preferred
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month along with accommodation. Our company also provides assistance with visa processing for non-local candidates.
