Typesetter - Os, Norway

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Os, Norway on a contract basis. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and designing various types of text and images for print or digital publications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and clients to ensure the final product meets their expectations
- Proofread for spelling and grammar errors before finalizing designs
- Work with various fonts, sizes, and styles to create visually appealing layouts
- Maintain consistency in design elements throughout the publication
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates to improve efficiency and quality of work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and design elements
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
