Junior Web Designer

We are a fast-growing web design company based in Greenland and we are seeking a talented Junior Web Designer to join our team. As a Junior Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. Your main duties will include designing website layouts, creating graphics and images, and coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also be collaborating with our team of developers to ensure seamless functionality of the websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, experience with graphic design software, and knowledge of coding languages. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about web design and looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Greenland (remote work may be considered)

Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing website layouts that align with clients' brand identity
- Create graphics, icons, logos, and other visual elements using graphic design software
- Code website templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper functionality of websites
- Conduct quality assurance testing to identify any bugs or issues
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in web design or related field (internship experience will also be considered)
- Strong understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience using coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Shopify
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
