Our upscale restaurant in Al Buraymi is seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department. This position is open to candidates of any nationality, with a preference for Canadians. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing all dessert menu items, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and overseeing junior pastry chefs. You must have a strong background in pastry arts and be able to create unique and visually appealing desserts that complement our menu.

Responsibilities:
- Create new and innovative dessert menu items
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry department
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Ensure all desserts are prepared to high standards of quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in Pastry Arts
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Experience creating unique and visually appealing desserts
- Ability to manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain budgetary goals
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to train junior staff
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English speaker, with knowledge of French considered an asset

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
