Seasonal Executive Chef in Porto, Portugal
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Porto, Portugal. This is a perfect opportunity for recent culinary graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with management to create new and innovative dishes that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Monitor food cost and make adjustments as needed to meet budgetary goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Salary: $1200 per month
