We are hiring a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Faro. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our company's databases. Your main duties will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring data security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain databases according to company requirements
- Monitor database performance and perform regular capacity planning
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Develop backup and recovery plans to ensure data availability
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing access controls and performing regular audits
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database structures for better performance
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Familiarity with database design, normalization techniques, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:

Our office is located in Faro, but remote work options can be considered for the right candidate.
