Formworker - Construction Project in Atlanta
As a Formworker on our construction project in Atlanta, you will be responsible for creating and assembling temporary structures used to support concrete during pouring and setting. This role requires experience in carpentry, ability to read blueprints and follow instructions, and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Formworker and be able to work full-time on the construction site.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials according to blueprints
- Assemble temporary structures using tools such as saws, drills, and hammers
- Install supporting braces and concrete forms
- Ensure proper alignment and levelness of forms
- Pour concrete into forms, smoothing and leveling as needed
- Remove forms after concrete has set
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Adhere to all safety regulations on the construction site
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or similar role in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to work long hours on a construction site
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Experience with concrete pouring is preferred
- Must have valid visa sponsorship or authorization to work in the US
